Reclaiming the Pen

For so many years, I lived by a script I didn’t write.
I said yes when I wanted to say no. I kept quiet to keep the peace. I moved through life trying to meet everyone’s expectations but my own. It felt safe — until it didn’t.

Losing Michael, walking through grief, and facing the parts of my story I had long avoided forced me to pause. It stripped away the noise and left me with a single, life-changing realization: I want my life to be mine.

Reclaiming the pen hasn’t been easy. It’s meant unlearning years of people-pleasing. It’s meant disappointing people who liked the version of me who never had boundaries. It’s meant finding my voice after decades of silence.

But slowly, one small act of courage at a time, I’ve started to write my own story. And that has changed everything.

If you’ve been living in someone else’s script, maybe this is your sign. You don’t have to burn your whole life down to begin again — you can start with one line, one choice, one boundary. That’s how new stories are written.

Unbroken was born from this journey. It’s proof that no matter how lost you’ve felt, you can come home to yourself.

If you’re ready to reclaim your pen, stay connected — there’s so much more I can’t wait to share with you.
